What a grand evening! He still writes the songs, he sings them like he did thirty years ago and never misses a note. I have to admit, I was wrong!!! This man not only still writes the songs, I was a little worried that at age 72 his voice might not sound as wonderful as it once did. Again Laffont Grand Finals Concert did not disappoint. I also wondered how he was ever going to fit all of his songs into one concert and whether he would leave out any of my favorites. I have wanted to see him in concert for years and I am so grateful that I got the opportunity. True, some were tied into medley form, but they were all there!
